Master Theory versus TFH by:
Audley x MTAnd in the end of times, it was said that the Four Horsemen would be seen on the horizon. In reality, there were 8 of them, none of the domains War, Pestilence, Famine, nor Death. These riders dubbing themselves The Fifth Horsemen challenged the Master Theory, who claimed there could only be Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Game 1 standoff CTF The perfect battlefield was selected for their first chance on the proving grounds. The barren steppe of Standoff, a valley much akin to the fabled Megiddo where the world must end.
The horsemen rode out but found they could not stand against the much more agile cavalry of Master Theory, as those who mounted the Warthog ravaged the horsemen for much of the first match.
Some were forced to retreat to their base, cowering in the corners to guard their icon of glory, their flag, with their lives. And for a time, they held.
But Master Theory would not be stopped as push after push eventually led to the flag being plucked from its stronghold, being carried back to the MT base by a veritable assembly line of willing soldiers.
Another push, as time drew to a close, led to both teams pulling a flag. Master Theory's defense held while the silent hunter known as Pie scored the second and final cap for Master Theory.
game 2 Valhalla slayer Apparently these Horsemen decided the Megiddo-reminiscent Standoff was not the religious Apocalypse they represented as the battlefield changed to the Nordic Valhalla, with Slayer as the gametype of choice.
This battle began as most post-Ragnarok do, both sides charged the advantageous center hill. And much like the previous battle, Master Theory employed their porcine mount behind enemy lines to ensure they won the push. After obtaining control of the auspicious knoll, the Master Theory squad never looked back.
The Horseman, who entered the battle expecting victory, quickly became frustrated, desecrating the corpses of those they managed to slay in battle. One would think with a domain like Vengeance on their team, they would know how quickly vengeful bullets will come the way of those who treat ill the dead, but alas, they found themselves the victim of karma as the scales of victory tipped in favor of Master Theory.
With their morale broken after two battles, the Horsemen fled, their tails tucked beneath their steeds' legs. The white flag was raised and the imposters of the Apocalypse were sent away.
Master Theory had prevailed.
